The MSSC Certified Production Technician Program is a combination of classroom and online training to give advanced skills to persons working in manufacturing productions jobs. ""Hands On Experience"" is done using a MSSC ""Skill Boss"" unit that allow student to simulate ""Real Life"" shop activities and functions. Innovation Educational Solutions Institute has been designated as a training and assessment site by the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC). The Program is an Industry-led, training, assessment and certification system focused on the skills and knowledge needed by the nations front-line production and material handling workers. The nation-wide MSSC System is based upon Industry-defined and Federally endorsed standards. It is credentialed by Department Of Labor. The training is open entry/exit. Classes start on Mondays each week. Applications are accepted throughout the year except during the holiday breaks.

Apprenticeship, Certified Production Technician and Industrial Manufacturing Technician.
Placement is done with companies who have hired former students. Also through M-WERC, MATC and the Wisconsin Regional Training Partnership (WRTP).
Tutoring is available during the training as needed.

Other fees are for Online assessment by MSSC. The online assessment is Proctored by Innovative Educational Solutions Institute.
Refund Policy does not apply. Students do not pay for the training program. Funding is provided by various Workforce agencies funding.

PLEASE NOTE:

The "Employment Outcomes" are calculated using information from Wisconsin's Unemployment Insurance Wage database. Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. Students whose information could not be verified in this database are excluded from these outcomes. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
